Song Phrase 1
Frequency right on 6 kHz, so intermediate between COFL and
PSFL. Click "Previous Bird" a time or two and you will notice that this
one is higher than others from the Warners.
|
Song Phrase 2
Discontinuous phrase 2, like most Warner birds. Matches right-most example for
COFL. Tick frequency around 3 kHz = COFL. Maximun frequency is at top of
COFL range, too low for PSFL. Middle note is a little flat in shape
but final note is very similar to standard (right-most example of COFL Phrase 2).
Overall, close to COFL.

Song Phrase 3
This single specimen of Song Phrase 3 from this bird is so faint that it's difficult
to characterize, except that the frequency is not much above typical
COFL range.
|
Male Position Note
Close to COFL, the absence of a break being the main deficiency. Because the terminal
frequency is lower, this is a bit more COFL-like than Territory 9's. On the other hand, this one clearly sounds continuous,
while the latter does not. The frequency range sounds as well as looks right for COFL.
